ABOUT OUR PLEXIGLASS & FOAM CORE BACKING Our plexiglass is made from quality framing grade acrylic and is lightweight and shatter resistant. It is available in standard, and conservation grade which filters out approximately 98% of ultra violet rays. Our foam core backing is also available in standard, and conservation grade which is acid free. Standard materials are appropriate for reproductions and other artwork framed for decorative purposes. Conservation grade materials are recommended for original artwork, valuable items and keepsakes to be preserved over long periods of time. SHIPPING There is generally no additional shipping charge when plexi glass and backing is ordered with a frame of the same size. When ordered separately, standard shipping rates will apply.
